We were recently lucky enough to photograph the wonderful Karen and her adorable pup Lily, a match made in puppy-person heaven if ever there was one! Karen works for natural food companies and loves to hit the great outdoors with her precious pooch, so we figured an outdoor portrait session would be the perfect set-up for these two. Many thanks to Karen for the fantastic opportunity! We had a great time and can’t wait to shoot more Portlanders with their precocious pets in the future! We just love our own pets beyond words, and considering how much we love capturing images of our clients & the loves of their lives, it comes as no surprise that we just LOVE photographing their precious pets too! These fantastic felines are particularly perfect models, strutting a catwalk of the literal kind one minute, caught on candid camera the next. Cris Pera, whose Artisan Custom Framing & Gallery in Lake Oswego continues to be an invaluable resource for so many of our favorite photos, is the proud pet owner. Sherman and his People

Maria and Dan redeemed a gift certificate that I donated to a silent auction for Basic Rights Oregon (check out the photos from that event here) and had photos taken with Sherman. Sherman is their gorgeous 6 month old golden doodle. He is such a darling dog. Full of energy and kisses. I love taking photos of doggies & kitties, so bring them over for some portraits!
