Aw, this is one of my favorite babies! He and his momma visited me at the studio a couple of weeks ago.
She and I had so much fun just watching B’s expressions change every other second.
I love his HUGE blue eyes. And… stating the obvious, what a pretty mom!

Aw, this little guy is such a cutie! I’m documenting the first year of his adorable little life in 5 portrait sessions. He had a great time rolling around in the leaves at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden and his mom, dad, and I had fun watching him giggle in the grass. So cute!

Fall is the perfect time of year to get your family portraits taken since photos make such great gifts!

Well, it’s official… this kid is growing up fast. This was the last photo session of our first year documenting. We had fun chasing him down in the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in SE Portland. And when I say chasing him down, I really mean chasing him down! He’s full of energy and giggles. Fall is my favorite time for family portraits in Portland, and this fall has been especially beautiful. I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving!

Ok, so it’s her first birthday and she already has the birthday diva pose down. To finish off the book we are creating for the little lady’s first year we simply had to be in attendance at her first birthday party. The door opened and I stepped into the bounding energy of the Sills house. Immediately the kids began leading me around their house, showing me their favorite things. Even giving tips on their favorite family photos. And Lucy the dog took to leaning on me right away (word has it this is a good thing). One of my favorite things in the world is getting to know a family. I love watching kids run around and play or ham it up for the camera. It’s so nice that it is such an important part of my job. The better I know a family the better I get at capturing them at their most relaxed, real moments. I look forward to many more portrait sessions with this warm and welcoming family.
