My lovely friend Jasmine is putting out her first album and came to me for some publicity portraits. We had a great time running around in the grassy fields with guitar in hand. I even got an exclusive live show!
Beth and Chris took me up on my beach portrait special this August so they could get some portraits taken with their favorite furry citizens Nellie and Emma. We had a great time frolicking on the beach and capturing some lovely moments together. Nellie is a ball catching wonder pup! It also turns out that we’re all from the same area in Virginia. Small world.

I am absolutely thrilled to be photographing my fellow boot camper Janet’s wedding to the ever so sweet Darrell. Janet & Darrell met on the go during Cycle Oregon which the two do on a yearly basis. As part of the ride Janet is raising funds for Kids with Cancer (for more information on how you can support this organization by donating go to: http://candlelighters.donorpages.com/2011RideForAChild/janetgrayson). Janet and I are all too familiar with the location for our photo shoot, Mt. Tabor Park, because we run up and down that crazy hill just about every Wednesday as part of our fitness boot camp. Darrell, Janet, and I had a great time running around the park playing and setting up the occasional portrait.
The pair will be making it official this fall at the University Club in downtown Portland!
We love these two newlyweds not only because they are so in love and were so happy on their big day, but also because they are practically family! Megan, the bride, is the sister of our beloved assistant Gabe Rodriguez, so we were thrilled to photograph Megan’s wedding to her dashing groom Michael in their hometown of Florence, Oregon, on the beautiful coast. The wedding had a simple circus theme, with a lovely wacky cake (by Sweet Life in Eugene), perfectly selected decor and party favors, and a refreshingly straightforward ceremony, followed by a brief cake reception. We joined the bride & groom at Devil’s Elbow State Park for post-reception portraits, and two people have perhaps never looked so happy as Megan and Michael Buss, newlyweds. (more…)
