Catalog & Product Photography – Portland, Oregon

Posted by Rosemary Ragusa on March 30th, 2011

I love having friends who do amazing and creative things in my favorite town, Portland, Oregon. I especially enjoy collaborating with my friend and business colleague Suzi Johnson, owner and mastermind of Souchi – a local designer working with cashmere. This winter we has so much fun with our favorite model Julia Britz photographing the catalog and look book for Suzi’s beautiful Fall 2011 line up. Her new colors and designs are to die for! I can’t wait to get my hands of one of these gems for my wardrobe. Alas, I will have to, these pieces will be in the Souchi Boutique in a few months. In the meantime, we can always dream. An additional shout out must be made to Jodie and the 220 Salon crew for allowing us to shoot the catalog in their glorious studio!

Tax time.

Posted by Rosemary Ragusa on March 17th, 2011

Hello friends,

It used to be that when someone said tax time to me my response was BOOOOO. But now I am much happier and more relaxed around tax time. Why? you ask. Well I’ll tell you why. Because I have Jenny and Colleen on my side. Jenny is my fabulous bookkeeper, her company is called On Your Account Bookkeeping and she does a really great job. Get in touch with her for your bookkeeping needs throughout the year: jennyrappe@earthlink.net. She’s thorough, efficient, timely and doesn’t make me feel bad when I am not those things.

Then she hands off my paperwork to Colleen Thompson of Thompson & Associates.

Colleen does a great job getting my taxes done fast and with all of the deductions and calculations done right. This is not something that I can do myself! Colleen also gives me great advice on how I can best “work with” the money I make.

They are a really terrific team. Get in touch, they can help.

P.S. Check out their awesome business portraits!

Personal Portraits At Home – Portland, OR

Posted by Rosemary Ragusa on March 17th, 2011

We love when new clients come to us after doing a simple Web search & stumbling upon our site or reviews online. Catherine is one such new client. She was searching for someone to take a few new portraits for her own personal and professional use, and we’re so happy she found US! Catherine was so sweet, inviting Rosemary into her lovely home for our portrait session…she even played a little piano, too! Thanks, Catherine, for seeking us out!

Portrait Photography At Home – Portland, OR

Posted by Rosemary Ragusa on March 1st, 2011

Taking portraits of our clients at home in their own element is one of our favorite things to do, especially this time of year when it’s fun to get cozy and stay in. Vanessa and Kim are a committed couple of local attorneys. They’ll be featured this season in a commercial for the Marriage Matters campaign with Basic Rights Oregon. We’ve been a longtime supporter of B.R.O., so photographing Vanessa & Kim for the commercial was a no-brainer. Such a lovely couple and such an important cause. Thanks for inviting us into your home, ladies! And thanks to B.R.O. for another sensational campaign!
