Madeline recently joined us at the beach in beautiful Gearhart, OR for a senior portrait session. She’s all primed to graduate high school next spring and came ready for her moment in the spotlight. Boy did she get it! Maddie was such a gorgeous and gracious subject, which of course made the job that much easier. We had a great time on the coast with her, and her mom & sister were an added bonus as session sidekicks. Thanks so much Maddie! We wish you the very best in the future! It’s so fun to see new additions come into the lives of my friends. Photography is such a wonderful way to capture the feel of these life changing moments.
Robyn and Matt gleefully welcomed this little newborn into the world this August.
He was perfectly content to model for me on this beautiful summer morning. Can’t really think of a nicer way to spend the day!

This summer I was given the wonderful opportunity of photographing David and Sara’s wedding in SE Portland. I brought along my associate photographer Heather and we had a great time capturing the fun and romance of the day. We started the at St. Agatha’s Catholic Church in Sellwood where David, Sara and their close family and friends solidified the couple’s union with a beautiful ceremony. Then we were off to the Arista Ballroom to party, with a brief stop on the train tracks to experience the fabulous sunset over Portland. Watch the slideshow of their gorgeous wedding.

Our invaluable bookkeeper Jenny Rappe, who hails from the beautiful country of South Africa, is heading home in a few weeks for a long visit and wanted to have some family portraits taken before her departure. Also, her lovely daughter will be heading off to college soon so Jenny figured the timing was just right for portraits. Boy was she right! We had a lovely time at the Rhododendron Gardens in SE Portland near Reed College, and the weather fully cooperated. Thanks so much Jenny for all your great work! We’d be lost without you! A new friend of ours, the handsome and charming Jack Saturn, recently got this swanky Duchess suit for promo purposes for his new band. Duchess Clother is the maker of hand-tailored, fine quality custom vintage-style suits, and you should really check them out. We can’t wait to see what Jack has in store with his new band, which should be emerging soon on the Portland music scene.
