Chris and Cindy were some of my very first clients. It’s only fitting that they would come in for our 5th Anniversary mini-sessions. Their furry children, Barkley and Charlie, accompanied them. We were so thrilled when our friend and fellow photographer, Laura asked us to photograph her and her gorgeous daughter Tallis. I’ve known Laura and Tallis since I first lived in Portland. Laura and I worked together selling cameras. Now we’re still good friends doing what we love most for a living! Pretty lucky. Tallis is such an adorable kid, so kind and full of energy. We have so much fun whenever we get together. I just love these photographs of the two of them running around my SE Portland neighborhood. Our friend Beate Weiss-Krull, the lovely local lawyer, recently came in to the studio with her handsome husband Ron and their two little ones for a fun family portrait session. We had a wonderful time with the family, getting lots of shots of the foursome together and also a bunch of just the girls. We met Allison through our friend Mary; they’re in the amazing local old time music band Succotash together! We were so thrilled when Mary informed us that Allison was getting married this summer! We were even more excited when Allison & her handsome man John asked us to photograph their big day at Laurelhurst Club in SE Portland! The results were simply lovely. We wish Allison & John the very best in their long and happy life together, and we’re so thankful to have been a part of their wedding. Suzi Johnson first became famous making cashmere bathing suits, and she’s been creating hand-knit fashions for more than 20 years in the Portland area. Most recently, Suzi has made a name for herself as the head fashionista behind Souchi Boutique. We were thrilled when Suzi asked us to photograph her new line for Spring 2011! We had a great time with Suzi and her gorgeous models Laila Ghanbari, Elizabeth Strelow, and Christine Schwamb, who looked simply divine in Souchi’s spring collection. Although we can only give you a sneak peek here, it’ll be just enough to whet your appetite and come back for more when Souchi unveils their Spring 2011 collection this September (just a few short weeks away)!
