Allison and John are such lovely people with great style. We’re excited about the beautiful and simple ceremony they have planned at the Laurelhurst Club in July. Allison is an awesome banjo player in a local band called Succotash, check ‘em out!

mon Amour photography is turning 5! Come celebrate with us all month long in July with $5 mini-session specials!

The 20-30 min. mini-sessions are just $5 per person (e.g. $20 for a family of 4) and will be held on the following
dates in July:
Sunday July 11th / noon – 5pm
Saturday July 24th / 9am – 12pm
Saturday July 31st / noon – 5pm
Please feel free to bring any pets or props you’d like to include in the fun! Favorite props include but are not limited to toys, flowers, wigs, boas, fun outfits, candy…whatever you’d like! We simply ask that you send payment in advance upon booking your session to reserve your spot.

You will be invited back to the studio approximately two weeks after your mini-session to view all of your fantastic photos to pick your favorites. Framed prints, canvases, photo standouts and albums make wonderful gifts, and following your ordering session, you’ll receive a link to your personal online photo gallery for family and friends to view as well. There could have been no better way to kick off the start of this year’s Portland Pride weekend than the official launch party of Pivot (formerly the Men’s Wellness Center of Cascade AIDS Project), a space in downtown Portland for men who are into men. With help from RAIN Agency, the new branding of Pivot highlights the focus of the space as central to a shift in thinking about sexual health; a place central to community, both physically and metaphorically; and a space that serves to bring about change. We had SUCH a blast with the help of our friend Kyle Carnes, taking pictures of Pivot and the party’s many attendees, and we’ll be donating 50% of proceeds from any print orders to benefit CAP and Pivot! Brad and Naomi are so gorgeous, it’s no surprise that lil “C” has turned out so darn cute! I photographed Brad and Naomi’s lovely wedding a few years ago and we’ve been great pals ever since.
Little Mr. Baby was in an iffy mood on the day of our shoot but we ended up capturing some priceless expressions. I feel so blessed that I get to work with some of Portland’s most fantastic families!
Happy Birthday little guy. May all your birthdays to follow be wonderful.
