On July 11th, I got to be a part of Michelle and Patrick’s gorgeous wedding at The Grotto the Northeast Portland. Michelle and her bridesmaids all wore vintage dresses which were unique and lovely. The ladies got their dresses at Ray’s Ragtime a fabulous vintage shop in town (just in case you feel like shopping!). Every detail of the wedding was thoughtfully considered and personal.

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Laura’s Birthday party at the rooftop bar of the Nines Hotel, Departure. It’s such a great place for a party and it was an amazing Portland summer night. Laura and her friends danced the night away to awesome 80′s tunes, provided by DJ Yaz! What a fabulous party. This summer I have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful families. The Chalmers family is one of my very favorites. They are so loving and fun. And, they have an adorable baby and pup (I think the pup is a little jealous these days). Take a look at the slideshow and gallery from our first session. I look forward to seeing them about every 3 months as I will be documenting the first year of the little guy’s life. Documenting a child’s life is one of my favorite things in the world to do!

June 27th was such a beautiful day! Rachell and Patrick had a fabulous wedding filled with happy family and friends. Their ceremony was a unique mix that they took the time to create themselves, making it so personal and touching. Mount Hood Bed and Breakfast is always a great place for a party.
