Business meetings don’t always have to be businessy. Rachell, Patrick and I share a love for the restaurant in SE Portland, Nuestra Cocina. So we got together and had wonderful food, a little Sangria, and an extremely fun meeting! We were going over the details of the photography for their wedding taking place on June 27th. The two seem to be enjoying the journey of planning their wedding. They even made their own lovely invitations. After our meeting we took a few minutes to get some photos of the couple before the big day!
Since I’ve moved into this lovely space I was thinking I’d offer to rent it to other photographers who don’t have a studio or who need a bigger space. There are approximately 450 sq. feet of space to shoot in. You can take advantage of the natural light or have all the light blocked out with the blackout curtains.
The fee for renting the space for 4 hours is $80, $100 with light kit & backdrops.
The fee for renting the space for up to 10 hours is $200, $250 with light kit & backdrops. Times include set up and clean up. Please bring cash payments on the day of unless otherwise discussed.
The light kit available for rent (in house) includes 2 light stands, 1 smaller light stand for background light, 3 dynalite heads, one 2040 dynalite power pack, one sync chord, 3 umbrellas, & one soft box, one round white diffuser.
The backdrops I currently have on hand are black, white & gray seamless paper, a muddled dark blue canvas backdrop and a plain cream canvas backdrop. Anything you need that’s not listed here you should bring, ie. gaffers tape…
Recently I had the pleasure of meeting John and Karen Ryan. They are married and they work together, sounds like they like each other! Aren’t they just the cutest couple. Take a look at all the photos we took on that day in the gallery.
This spring I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Kristina and Andrew at Skamania Lodge. The air was filled with joy and anticipation when I arrived at the lodge that morning. Kristina prepared for the day with her mother, sister and best friends. Andrew prepared with his crew of friends down the hall. You could tell Kristina and Andrew were so excited to see each other. The beautiful, glowing bride! The gorgeous flowers were arranged by Affairs in Bloom. Kristina and Andrew had a lovely candlelight ceremony. The day was beautiful with a mix of sun and clouds. The reception was filled with happy friends and family. Kristina’s dad brought the house down with his heartfelt toast to the couple. It was a pretty perfect day all around.
Take a look at the slideshow I created for the couple of their wonderful day.
If you just can’t get enough, check out all the photos from their day in the galleries.
Hello Kristina & Andrew fans, I’m still working on the images from Kristina and Andrew’s amazing wedding, but I have a favorite that I wanted to share with you! It’s a little sneak peek, there are many more to come.
